About Us

    • 25 + years of experience teaching Adapted Physical Education in the public schools, adjunct instructor @ UAA Alaska
    • Chair of APAC (Adapted Physical Activity Council) Legislative Committee
    • NWD AAHPERD (Northwest District Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, & Dance) International Committee Representative for AAHPERD International Committee.
    • Presented “Inclusion Strategies”, @ Toyota University in Japan, September, 2010
    • Served on  the Alaska State Physical Education Standards Committee September, 2011
    • Created Developmental Ball, a unique approach to teaching soccer style dribbling, tossing and catching skills for students with disabilities, students on the autism spectrum as well as students with coordination issues
    • Serving in rural Alaska for 5 + years,  I have the skills & knowledge to develop programs appropriate for rural settings, not only in Alaska, but any rural setting
    • Chaired AKAHPERD (Alaska Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, & Dance), & NWD (Northwest District) AAHPERD which included the 5 northern States of AAHPERD;Alaska,Montana,Idaho,Washington, &Oregon)
